You dont get why people are scared of insects and not dogs when insects cant kill you but dogs DEFINITELY can. amirite?

Spiders can be poisonous. Mosquitoes have West Nile. Enough ants can. Plenty of insects can kill you.

Insects can kill you. So can dogs, but dogs tend to be nicer whereas insects just crawl all over you and stuff. Plus, insects can crawl into your clothes, ears, hair, and mouths. Insects just seem more able. You can't run away from insects as easily as dogs. I'm afraid of both, though.

When you're scared of something, it doesn't always have to be fear of death. Like people are scared of insects because they're gross and aren't scared of dogs because they're cute and usually nice. I'm scared of bugs, but I'm not really concerned with insects killing me as much as them crawling on me and biting me, just because they're creepy.

West Nile, Malaria, bee/wasp stings (if you're highly allergic), I think fire ants can kill you if you're really allergic? Don't forget about the flat out poisonous insects and other diseases insects can carry. Plus, (and yes, I know they aren't technically insects, but bear with me) some spiders are poisonous as well.
