-117 what's the point of eyebrows, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

To keep sun out of your eyes, and they help to convey the expression on your face.

i don't know what kind of freaky eyebrows you have, but mine most definitely don't keep sun out of my eyes.

LOL! xD No, not like, directly, but they keep the sun from shining off your face and reflecting into your eyes. :P

They're like eyelashes, they catch stuff falling from up (like dandruff) and stop it going in your eyes. Basically to protect your eyes from being poked out by a piece of dust! Totally pointles!!

Well way back when, our ancestors had to run to escape predators. What happens when you run? You sweat. Eyebrows help keep the sweat (or rain, for that matter) out of your eyes. If you can't see, you can't run, and if you can't run, you die.

how did it take the third person's comment to finally answer this question correctly? sweat.

ummm, well then why do people pluck/wax theirs?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

To make the shape more defined. It's not like they're actually getting rid of the entire thing. (Well, there are some people who do do that, but they probably don't sweat enough to die from not having eyebrows, y'know? Plus the one girl I know who did that was the biggest dumbass I ever met)

People who remove their entire eyebrows aren't exactly the sort of people who run/work up a sweat, generally speaking. Ahaha.
