-176 to all you know-it-alls saying " dont say the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon" oviously havn't been paying attention in geography... the sky continues way beyond the moon, amirite?

Geography, wtf? Also what do you mean the sky continues before the moon, this post just generally doesn't make sense.

They don't teach about space in geography .____.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

they do where im from... it means that the sky is the limit even though there are footsteps on the moon... coz the sky is endless... and there are some ppl who argue by saying the moon is after the sky so its not the limit... never mind if you dont get it..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The sky and space are not the same thing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Geography generally teaches about countries, not the sky. That's usually saved for Science class. Also, the moon is in space. The sky is a part of Earth.

Have you seen my faith in humanity anywhere? I think I just lost it...

See, what you need to do is babysit a five year old who wants to watch Disney movies instead of playing with barbies. Go to the nearest MLIA-er for a more detailed explanation.

And it looks like someone "oviously" hasn't paid attention in English class.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago

1.sky: The region of the atmosphere and outer space seen from the earth. atmosphere. the atmosphere ends at approximately 100km, the moon is at 356400 km therefore the moon is not part of the sky. 2. Geography: The study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere. Now technically that is relevant to how far the sky is, but it would more appropriately fall under astronomy.
