It shouldn't matter how new a song is either. I should be able to both appreciate old music and enjoy new music without pretentious assholes saying, "Mainstream music these days is so terrible. I like *insert band no one's ever heard of here* so much better. Oh, and classical music because I'm just that sophisticated." It's annoying.
