-149 the innocent ones are the uneducated ones, amirite?

I'd kinda agree with you. You lose innocence as you become more and more educated (not only through school, but with life).

Not necessarily. I have a good friend who has a knack for science and math, but lacks a lot of common street smarts.

I agree. When you know nothing, there's nothing dirty or corrupt going throigh your mind. Just things that are considered "pure". I remember losing my innocence when I joined school because I was being influenced by drugs and hate and partying and sex.... All by the time of fifth grade. That's why people consider small children "pure", they don't know a thing about how life works unless they're put under certain circumstances (growing up in a broken home, having to take care of younger siblings at the age of five, rape, etc)

My friend commented that I'm the exact opposite of that. I do know a lot, I just choose not to bring it up.

I hear banjos playing...

In all honesty, I feel it's the opposite. We're all innocent and naiive until we experience. And generally, the less educated you are, the less wealthy you are. And the less wealthy usually have to work harder and experience more, therefore, making them less innocent along the way...
