People who claim the world is grossly overpopulated haven't driven through Midwest, USA. amirite?

I think that there are hugely overpopulated areas and cities and stuff. But there are HUGE masses of unpopulated land. If people could just spread out a little bit I don't know that it would be such a big issue. I mean, most of the population of Canada is found right at the border, meaning this huge area is empty.

Nah... i don't think that's it... you have businesses, stores, everything needs to be spread out, i understat that person's message, saying that the US is not as populated as we think it is, but no, it's not selfish to want to live on 4 or 5 acres of land...

Overpopulation means that the resources being produced do not meet the needs of the population. Since there are quite obviously many people who have nothing to eat, the world is overpopulated.

The world actually currently produces enough food to feed the world twice but producers aren't willing to contribute some of that to the poor because it isn't economically smart, even if the food is going to waste anyway.
