i don't get the wording. explain please?

I believe in destiny and that nothing occurs by chance. Still, I don't necessarily have to believe in chance to take risks that involve chance.

but if you don't believe in chance, then risks don't involve chance, they all have predestined outcomes, right? or are you saying that even though the outcomes are predestined, since you don't know them yet you view them as chance?

I'm trying to say that even though the outcome is uncertain, it should not stop one (who believes that everything happens for a reason) from wandering into the unknown--for surely it will work itself out in the end.
