If you think about it, it's really suprising that in a world as advanced as ours we still have war. I mean it's basically just killing each other because we can't find a solution to our disputes. Amirite?

I disagree because it's not exactly a case of "No way dude, I wanna watch MTV" It's more "Why do you have so many weapons?" "Incase you attack me" "Yeah but how do we know you won't attack us?" "Oh I probably will, because my God says I should." "Is that the same God that won't let us have all your countries oil." "Dude, we need that oil so I can oppress my people." The only solution for situations like that is for all the evil to just disappear out of the world, and seeing as no one is holding their breath on that one, they're doing what they (in some cases sort of justly) think is right.

Not surpring at all. I think humans intelligence is over rated. There is a certain genius in simplicity and our advancements will probably be our downfall.
