+394 "Ugh, I hate this song so much, I just wanna kill the artist." "That sounds reasonable. I mean, it would cause unspeakable grief to their family, friends, and fans, and the song would still exist and probably be played even more often in memory of their death, but at least...actually, you don't really gain anything in this situation except life in prison." Amirite?

I'm pretty sure I gained the satisfaction of killing an annoying artist. That's the best part! You've obviously never murdered anyone.

Then their music gets played even more. Thanks for ruining the radio for the rest of us.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What Fatty said. All that would net you is a guarantee that all the big stations will play that song ten times more "in memory of a wonderful, inspirational, talented musician who was well beyond their time and died much too soon"

Three meals a day, shelter, lots of time to think, and more for free. Prison's not so bad.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The meals suck, you're more in danger in prison then you are outside (ask the girl who killed selena), lots of time to think about how to avoid rape, and more for free, but very limited. Prison sounds pretty terrible.

Not every prison is like the ones they show on TV you know. On the perspective of having food and shelter vs. not having any at all, prison is great.

Most prisons are pretty uncomfortable, whether or not they are as bad as TV prisons. Also, are you saying you're currently homeless? If so where did you get the internet, you know this thing you have to pay for that doesn't exist in prison.

I happen to know people who sell wholesale merchandise to prisons. Some prisons have televisions and stores so prisoners can buy cigarettes. The fucking point is that tax payer money goes to give a lot of prisoners a better life than the people who pay the taxes. You don't have to be homeless to know that being homeless sucks.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I didn't say that you needed to be homeless. The point is that you're not homeless, clearly, and that life as you live it right now is far better then life in prison. Very /few/ prisons have televisions and stores. Few and far between. That concept also makes no sense to me. Why in the world they should be given a more cushy life then the people who work for their standard of life is ridiculous.

The hell if I know. I believe prisons should focus on rehabilitation or punishment, not pampering their inmates. I never said they have it better than me or my family. I'm simply stating that a lot of prisoners have it better than a lot of people.

To reiterate the point, killing people for making crappy music is pretty pointless.

Thank you for understanding my pain.
