the quadratic formula as in x = (-b +/- squareroot(b^2-4ac))/2a ? to balance the equation you simply plug in the values and solve for x. depending on the specific equation you'll get up to two answers (one where you add squareroot(b^2-4ac))/2a the other where you subtract) the results are the points where the parabola touches the horizontal axis (the roots) or where y=0. that help?

I know what the quadratic formula is, I just don't understand why my username is equal to it. Maybe I should have emphasized the "you" or worded it differently.

I see a lot of quotes on the side like "You look nice today fuzala. Is that a new shirt?" but I don't understand when it says fuzala = (insert quadratic formula)
