Of course you can prove that it's been going on since the dawn of time, it partially sustains life on Earth anyway, What I meant was can you prove that God isn't warning us of something that's coming??

Revelations say that the world will end when we least expect it. And well... Just about everyone is expecting it. If God was warning us of something, he'd use something that doesn't happen all the time.

This doesn't have to be a warning of the end of the world, but let's suppose Nostradamus and the Mayans were right and the world is going to end in 2012 and these catastrophes were warnings, and as a Christian I'll put it this way, in the Bible it says that in the last times, natural disasters will occur, brothers will turn against each other, poverty and diseases will hit several and various parts of the world, all of this is occurring now. It also said that it'll happen when everyone least expects it, which is true, since we don't know when it will all happen precisely, and so you missed a little something there. You said that if God wanted to warn us about something he would use something that doesn't happen all the time, what exactly do you have in mind? it's bad enough now and we can hardly deal with it, so let's hope nothing worse is on it's way.
