+257 You really wish you could only fall in love with the person you're meant to be with, and not anyone else to spare yourself the heartbreak, amirite?

I think this sounds really ideal at first, and maybe it is if you just think of it from your point-of-view, but perhaps loving someone whom you weren't meant to love forever makes THEM feel loved, and strong, and courageous, and provides them the strength to love the person in their future whom they'll love forever. Or maybe the simplicity of being in a relationship, even if it ended in heartbreak, pointed out to you yourself that there are lovable things about you, and in turn, when you love yourself more, you can love someone else more greatly as well. Things go badly. Things hurt. But things also happen for a reason.
