+334 Girls: When we put guys into the friend zone, it means they have potential. Amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Seriously?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is really only sometimes true. Still, if we hated you with all our being, you'd know it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I love how your profile picture matches the expression on all of the guys' faces.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Whaaat?!??!??!??!?? I don't believe it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Bullshit.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lets be friends!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So true ! I was friends with my boyfriend for a year before we dated and we have been together over two years. Most of the best relationships were once friendships.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah. Don't fall for the "if you weren't like a brother to me" crap, because really that's just us being scared to move forward with is just in case it ends badly.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually, not all the time. 99% of the time I say "You're like a brother to me" I mean that they really are like a brother to me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And sometimes it's just an excuse because you don't like the guy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

True. That is why I said 99%

by Anonymous 12 years ago

this iswhyimrite is saying that when girls say IF you weren`t like a brother to me Id totally date you its just us being scared etc... at least thats what I got from it

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Alright. While we're here, let me get some advice. Girl I think I'm in love with (we're perfect for each other, really). We've been best friends since freshman year (about 3 years now). We tell each other we love the other all the time (She means "love" like a brother, I don't). Should I actually tell her, or nah?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Telltelltell

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Take it from a guy who's both refrained from telling and told a girl I was into her. It's way better if you tell her and get turned down rather than continue this act. Everyday that you don't tell her how you feel and keep wondering if she feels the same, it's torture. At least if she rejects you, you can move on quicker and suffer less. On the plus side, a wonderful relationship may be waiting for you. Either way, if you tell her, it's a win-win. If you don't, you'll continue your suffering and the chance of a relationship is 0%.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

TELL HER. Tell us how it goes, because now I'm supercurious.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

if you tell her and she doesn`t feel the same way it`ll just be awkward and who wants awkwardness with their best friend? but if you think it will hurt more to continue living wondering about it than just do it regardless of what the outcome is

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If you're willing to remain friends with her if she turns you down, then go ahead.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Most of the YYAs are probably guys hoping this is true.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

and the no ways are from the guys that know it isnt true. it sucks when this happens because you cant come on ro them or theyll say 'no, were too close'

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ok, I'm wavin the bullshit flag here.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So....is it the same with guys?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Guys don't really have friendzones. We do, however, have the 1. Slutzone - You're so much of a slut, the guy doesn't want anything to do with you. Guys with lower self-esteem may sleep with you, but nothing beyond. One-night-stand material. 2. Fatzone - Self explanatory. You're so fat that there's a social stigma associated with dating or sleeping with you. It's shallow, yes. Aren't we all. 3. Ex-Zone (Rare) - You're an ex of one of our close friends, huge emphasis on "close". Like, a friend we're practically in a bromance with. You are forever undatable in the eyes of the guy no matter how sexy you are. Alcohol may be used to escape any of the aforementioned zones. Besides those zones, everyone is up for consideration. I hope I've enlightened you, Montana.

http://www.laddertheory.com/ You should find it useful.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That reinforces the idea that guys would fuck nearly every girl...and hardly any girls are 'just friends'.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not nearly every. Some. I thought it was kinda accurate, but then, I'm not a guy. However, I found out about it from a guy who posted it on his Facebook, declaring it truth.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sad.

This post=INSTANT CONFUSION

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's true with me. If you're friend zoned it means "you say it first"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

BULL-FUCKING-SHIT

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It really depends on the guy. Most of the time, I just want the guy to make the first move. But sometimes, I just want a guy friend.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, you do it because you're heartless, shallow beasts.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

if a guy wants to leave the friendzone, all he has to do is ask. if he gets rejected, he can return to the friendzone. Why is it such a big deal?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...Usually... It depends though, pretty much on attractiveness + compatibility.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I put a guy in the friendzone when i actually wanted more, after about a week of realising he was in the friendzone with me, he moved onto my bestfriend. I got a lucky escape i guess. So i suppose it is kind of a test to see how much a boy likes you, so guys, hang on in there, she will realise....
