She an extremist right wing politician who has gotten some funny facts wrong (She said she was born in the city where John Wayne was born and embodying his spirit-ish, but it was really John Wayne Gacy, who is a serial killer; among other things). There are rumors that her husband thinks that he can cure gay people. She favors teacher lead prayer in schools. She's just generally thought to be crazy by a good amount of moderates and liberals especially.
