+134 Just because you're a virgin doesn't mean you're prude or completely innocent. You still could have seen several penises/vaginas, hooked up with people, experienced orgasms, or seen porn, amirite?

Just because you're not a virgin doesn't mean you're a slut or immoral. You could have had only one sexual partner, only hooked up with people you were dating, experienced love, and been heartbroken, amirite?

Hi i think you should make your own post about that because its not exactly relevant to my post. I never said anything about non-virgins being sluts.

Duh?

I am a virgin, but I am DEFINITELY not innocent, or a prude in the slightest.

I don't understand why being a virgin is considered a bad thing, or that it needs to be defended by any arguments.

Some people (like the 1st commenter) think any mention of how someone is saving their virginity means they're slut shaming when that's simply not the case. To some people, sex is the most intimate form of affection and they want to save it for someone special and that's totally cool. To others, sex is a super, awesome past-time activity and that's totally cool as well. (inb4 someone compares penises and vaginas to keys and locks)

As an experienced woman I can assure you that if you can ignore your natural instincts to reproduce & master the art of masturbation, you will not be missing out by remaining a virgin. It’s different for boys because a substantial portion of the pleasure they get out of sex is the visual & tactile appreciation of the female body & the huge boost to their fragile ego when they persuade a girl to have sex with them. Think of it as a form of conquest. This is why they commonly move on to another girl once you’ve “submitted” to them. The actual pleasure they get from sex is minimal compared to ours: it is the testosterone in their bodies that drives them to have sex. And, of course, it is our own ego that demands that we feel desirable to, & wanted by, the opposite sex.
