+100 A major flaw in Pascal's Wager is its advocacy of believing out of fear of punishment. God would certainly be able to see through your false faith, amirite?

Exactly! That's what I tell people that say "just believe, cuz if you're wrong you go to hell, if you're right nothing happens".

It also assumes that there's either a Christian God and hell or no god at all; no other options or gods are presented.

Yes! It bothers me so much when people say, "well you might as well believe, because then you'll have a chance". Not only do I have to choose between 1000s of religions to 'believe' in, but obviously any deity I pretended to believe in that actually did exist would be able to tell I didn't actually believe if it was omniscient.

What if God is real and send anybody who believes in him to Hell?

Yet so many people base their conversion argument on that basis alone.
