It can make them a lot less attractive and more attractive if you were already physically attracted to them. Sorry, but personality doesn't make people you weren't initially attracted to attractive.

Actually, some of my friends who are with their boyfriends now, say they never found them cute or noticed them until they got to know them. Then they actually found them attractive. So yeah, it can;)
