Since there are so many sites like this now (amirite, MLIA, FML, TFLN, etc.), there should be some type of name for the websites of this nature... so if someone asks what site you're referring to, you can just say, "Oh it's one of those ________

Hm, maybe "poster sites," meaning sites that anyone can post their thoughts and experiences to and that other people vote on. Or "POV" sites, since they offer different perspectives from random people.

Until amirite, I always referred to them as "anecdote" sites. Amirite doesn't fit in that category though 0_o

they're referred to as "single topic blogs / single topic websites", according to knowyourmeme.com.

I think they're called "micro-blogs" Another great one (2?) is www.MyBoyfriendIsCrazy.com and www.MyGirlfriendisCrazy.com
