I actually told my parents once, and then my dad picked me up, put me on the front porch, and locked the door. Then I was like "DADDY DADDY I LIKE MY HOUSE LEMME BACK IN AAAAAAH" and then I didn't wanna run away anymore :P

I always contemplated it, but I never went through with it because I couldn't fit all my things into one bandana tied on a stick.

I heard they make deluxe sizes now with wi-fi capabilities.

One time I made it a whole block down, this is very impressive when you're ten

I did run away... twice. Made it to the newspaper and stuff Yeah, I was gangster in kindergarden

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The last time I contemplated that was yesterday.

You don't //look// like a kid wary

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I love how this is in present tense. Like the majority of the amirite population is five to ten year olds.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Its not present tense.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah. You've contemplated... as a kid: you have contemplated... as a kid; to me implies that you're still a kid. Unless I'm missing something?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Thats present perfect, present case is "You contemplate... as a kid" Grammar Nazi. troll

by Anonymous 11 years ago

But seriously "you have done" means up to this point in life. "You had done (when you went to Asia)" means up to //that// point in life. "As a kid" just specifies when you had contemplated that idea, it doesn't mean you still have to be a kid.

The majority of users on this site are not 5-10 years old because this site is not FunnyJunk.

I ran away all the time when I was little, but I was never really trying to get so far from home. I felt like going on an adventure sometimes, so I'd just start walking somewhere. This caused a lot of panic for my mom and grandma.

I still think about it a lot. I hate this place a lot. Sometimes I just can't handle the pressure and want to throw everything away and go wherever I end up. I can't though because of my own fear, self-doubt, and the very few people that tether me here.

You sound like you need a hug.

I had a note written out and everything.

I once made very serious plans to run away to Boston and live in an orphanage. I collected all my quarters and was planning to walk to the airport and buy an airline ticket. I even packed my Series Of Unfortunate Events books, so my parents would know I meant business.

What stopped you?

I ran away to my friend's house (about a mile away) when I was ten and when I finally got there she wasn't even home. un

I would pack my things, sneak out my window and climb onto the roof and stare at the ocean. That running away in my mind.

I always wanted to just to see if I could do it. I had a whole plan of hiding at my neighborhood pool. Now with a car I definitely could, but I wouldn't know where to go and have no point in leaving
