When I was in biology, we finally got to cut open frogs. "I'm ready for this," I said. "I've awaited this day forever!" And then... 1. Half-digested flies were found in the intestines. 2. The insides were a grotesque purples and pinks rather than a red that I expected. 3. The stench was unbearable, regardless of how many times my teacher said they didn't smell. 4. Cutting into the flesh was harder than I thought. It was...sickening.

And to this day, 8th grade still has my most 'real' science class.
