My sister says that when a little kid runs up to you, its okay to pick them up. And I say noooooooo. I just wanted to take a poll and see who agrees with me so I can show her.

Oh. In that case, no it is not okay. Put it this way: Your three year old daughter runs up to a fat old dirty hobo, then is it okay for random strangers to pick up random children without consent?

But if it's like a teenager, or someone who clearly has no intent of stealing them, i feel there should be no problem.
