Troy Davis execution is barbaric, if there is any doubt about someone's guilt they should not be put to death.

I can copy and paste my comments. They were in reply to her saying that he must have been guilty and people were only bitching about Troy Davis getting executed because he was black and if he was white no one would care (that's paraphrasing I don't remember her exact comment).

No there was doubt because: - Seven of the nine witness' recanted their statements. One said they had no idea who shot the officer and that they were illiterate – meaning they could not read the police statements that they had signed at the time of the murder in. Others said they had falsely testified that they had overheard Davis confess to the murder. - Many of those who retracted their evidence said that they had been pushed by police into testifying against him. - Out of the two who did not retract their statement one has refused to speak about it in 20 years and the other one has evidence that they themselves may be the killer. - There is no forensic evidence that points to Troy being the shooter. - He was denied his request to take a lie detector test. - The gun used in the killing has not been found, but one of the "witness'" happend to own the same type that was used and apparently gave it away to someone else the same night as the shooting. - He never confessed and professed his innocence right up until his execution. weak case and the innocence project brought it into the public eye. I doubt if a white man was in the same situation no one would give a damn. If your racism theory was correct then people would act like this the every time a black person was executed, which doesn't happen.
