I've had both my parents as teachers. It's pretty weird.

I've had my mom. She didn't let me call her mom in the classroom, and if I did i'd get in trouble. I was pretty much in trouble every single day I was in her class.

She always told me not to call her mom, but I told her the best she would get was "Mrs. Mom."

I have a friend that I went to high school with and his dad was the government teacher. His son wasn't his student because he felt like all the students are going to pressure him to get the tests and let them see it.

All of my friends that have parents that are teachers won't teach them. Their parents make sure their kids won't be in their class. :o

My dad is my teacher and it's not weird at all. He teaches band and chorus. I guess I could be weird if it was another subject but I've had my dad as a teacher since 5th grade and it's not weird.

One of my friends' teacher is marrying his mom...

A girl at my school's mom married the dean. They had the wedding in the courtyard right after school one day.

It is. I never knew what to call my mom in the classroom, so I usually ended up calling her "Um."

Especially if they're one of those psychologically-savvy teachers that use sex jokes to reach out to students.

Everyone thought it was insanely awesome that I had my mom as a teacher :]

Isn't that not allowed in some schools? In elementary school not even siblings could be in the same class. I went to school with triplets, so the school had to go through this whole big thing to make sure they weren't in any classes together.
