Canadians are weird, their milk comes in bags, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I've never seen milk in a bag and I'm Canadian. I've also been in every province and most territories, and have lived in two provinces... Bagged milk is weird, but I've never seen it or drank it.

really? im from canada, ontario to be exact, and milk from a bag is found in every grocery store around.

I used to drink chocolate milk in Louisiana in a bag. It was cool and squishy. Then they got rid of it...

wow.
in ontario.
first post is a fake.
EVERYWHERE IN ONTARIO THERE IS BAGGED MILK.
obviously.
your either a fake,
or youve never been to ontario.

miggles the first post is not fake! I didn't even know that "milk in bags" existed until i moved to Ontario this year!! And I have lived in Vancouver, BC all my life! To be honest milk in bags is more than a little weird...just saying

And, bagged milk producesless wate, since most municipal govenments won't pay to have milk cartons recycled. So we kinda rock!
by Anonymous13 years ago
that is a very good point. I dont know how thick the bags are, but you wouldnt want to pack it next to a pineapple though.
by Anonymous13 years ago
milk cartons are treated with a layer of wax to make them non-biodegradable
by Anonymous13 years ago
and one more thing is that milk bags are recyclable and use 75% less plastic than jugs if the same capacity.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It does in the US, too.
by Anonymous13 years ago
are you from Wisconsin? that is the only state I know which does it, and it's right next to Canada. we influence you well.
by Anonymous13 years ago
haha..yeah I am

We seem to have started doing this in Britain, I've seen it in a couple of supermarkets and just WTF'ed
by Anonymous13 years ago
i want to move there. that would be cool to drink your milk out of a bag. Cut a whole on the bottom and drink. I am gonna move to canada.

We are not weird and it is only the people in the eastcoast that have milk in bags anyways. I came from the westcoast (BC) to go to school in Ontario this year and was shocked to know that milk came in bags!! But you can't classify all Canadians as weird because of it!

I'm Canadian...
by Anonymous13 years ago
WHAT??? milk in bags? weirdest thing i've heard all yearr
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wow I didn't even realize that most poeple don't get milk in bags until now. I guess because I've had milk in bags my whole life and all of my friends do too.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Bagged milk must be an Eastern Canadian thing I think.. From Ontario to the eastern Provinces, because it's everywhere on the East Coast.

WTH?!?!? to buy 3 bags on milk (4 litres) cost less than a 2 litre thing it is not weird it makes sense we always use the same container to hold the bag and the holoe lets you control how much comes out NOT to mention you don't haveto go out as much just to buy milk (saying gas) it makes perfect sense you are weird for saying that

Canadians aren't weird. Just because they serve their food/drink differently does not make them inferior to you. Many people in Asia eat with chopsticks.... does that make them inferior?
