+475 Have you ever noticed that Velma (from Scooby-Doo) only says who the bad guy is after she pulls off their mask. And then conveniently knew it was him or her all along. amirite?

Yeah... her style of reasoning is a lot like Sherlock Holme's even though a lot of people say it's deductive reasoning, it's actually inductive. I do this all the time in my classes. The style of reasoning associated with inductive reasoning is you're given a premise and the conclusion and you connect the pieces in between. It's actually not as easy as it seems....

And halfway through the show, she's always like "guys, I don't thing we're dealing with a 'real' monster here!" Thanks Velma, I would have had a hard time figuring that one out on my own...

If Velma couldn't get the mask off, what would she do.... "and the culprit is...*tries to pull off mask*...It's not coming off..*starts pulling really hard*...I can't get this f@#$ing mask off" Fred:"it's ok Velma you can tell us who it is right now" Velma:"ummmmm...It's uhhhhhhh...Jid-no, Ker- noooo, it's I um can't um..." *tries to pull off mask again* FINISH THE STORY.........
