As someone who tends to over-dress, it's actually pretty embarrassing. It looks like you care way too much. Coco Chanel said it was always best to be slightly underdressed.

Personally I'd rather be over dressed. I mean I'd rather show up to a highschool football game in a formal dress than go to a formal occassion in a jersey.
