+180 People look younger when they smile, amirite?

That's because the facial muscles we use to smile lift the face, making one appear younger. I immediately liked this post because its directly related to a speech I have to do for a course in school called Decathlon :) People in general are also draw to people who smile. And our brain's reward mechanisms simulate the same amount of simulation as eating 2,000 chocolate bars or receiving 25,000 dollars. Smiling also reduces stress and anxiety which reduces your risk of high blood pressure :) I could go on and on about the power of a smile.

When someone smiles at you do you have the same type of reward feeling?

Yepp :) It feels awesome. Sometimes it can turn my bad moods into a really good one. Other people's smiles actually suppress the control we have over our own facial muscles compelling us to smile :)

I can believe that. When people I like/love smile at me it makes me happy.

The brain must be pretty stupid to compare 2,000 candy bars and $25,000 to a smile. *jabs q-tip in ear*

well not comparison. It supposedly makes your body feel as happy as eating that much. but of course those things are on scientific terms :]
