Thanks.

That sounds like a really lame burn :/ It would be better if you actually criticized them for a problem they had.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Think about it. If someone has been spreading lies about you and you wanted to get back at them, wouldn't you think it'd be a pretty big burn if you said what they've been REALLY doing as opposed to what they've MADE UP about you? sounds pretty epic to me, and in the right context it could surely get someone to keep their mouth shut. What could be a better burn than that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Again, pointing out actual faults. Saying that you're telling the truth and they're lying doesn't mean anything if you can't back it up with evidence.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I would think that was implied in the statement.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But they haven't demonstrated that they're telling the truth and the other person is lying.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

but that's what implied means? I did get this from a movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, so maybe you can find what you're looking for in the movie.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They're implying it without any proof though un

Excuse me, Courage_Wolf, i haven't seen the movie, so i wouldn't be able to argue this case otherwise. The quote alone might not seem efficient enough in your case to "burn" someone, but i feel it's doing the job in everyone else's case, "lame" or not.

That was an intense movie. Made me want to be a broker, until I realized that working on Wall Street involved math, and well...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i understand, that suit isn't the strongest in my wardrobe as well. Makes me look "2 squared" hehe math puns. wary
