I actually enjoy doing this, I have a wide variety of friends all studying to be in a wide variety of areas so I read up on physics, engineering stuff, circuit design stuff... I have to say wikipedia comes in handy, because even if I don't get a complete understanding, I get the basis, so I can research the stuff on my own. Back when I had access to satellite/tv, I enjoyed watching History/Discovery channels, it's fun to learn by your own free will.

So true. I'm more of a Biology kind of person, so I research random things about the human body and mind. I love watching the History and Discovery Health channels.
