+194 If you found out that you/your wife was having twins and then later found out that one fetus absorbed the other fetus you would not hate that child for doing that and have resentment towards them, amirite?

how does a fetus absorb another fetus?..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There are documented cases, one is more developed and it absorbes the other while it still isn't much more than nutrients through diffusion.

ohh okay thanks i didn't know that

My brother absorbed his twin. Why would anyone resent someone for that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Its not like the one fetus says "Ya sure, I'm hungry and I don't feel like a brother, why not just absorb him". Its not a conscious effort by the one - it just, sorta, happens. Right?

I think I'd probably be relieved. Now instead of two babies to care for, I only have one.

Sometimes they become conjoined twins which would be harder to care for.

Why would that warrant resentment?

A baby with TWICE THE POWER OF A SINGLE BABY! Super baby! Able to grab your finger with TWICE THE GRABBING FORCE!

Dwight has first hand experience with this. He now has the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

They are CHILDREN. Not fetuses (feti?). However, it is an uncontrollable occurrence in this case so the child cannot be blamed. But don't you dare devalue human life.

Actually it is in fact a fetus. That is not moral opinion that is technical fact because scientific definition names it a fetus because it hasn't been born yet. Wether they have rights or should be deemed less value than a fully born child is something else entirely.
