It certain cultures, rain on your wedding day is considered a blessing. Perhaps in countries in hotter/drier climates, because rain means nutrition for the soil? So rain on your wedding day would mean that you'll have a fruitful marriage. Superstition as it is, I like the optimism.

I'm not worrying about my wedding at the moment, seeing as I don't even have a boyfriend. I just worry that I'll have my period on vacation or something.

I understand what you mean - if you are having an outdoor wedding, it would pretty much be ruined if it rained.

Nuh last wedding I went to was an outdoor wedding and it rained but it wasn't ruined, everyone just used umbrellas, except the groom for some reason but he was happy still.
