How is NASCAR more of a waste of gas than any other sport? Think of all the gas it takes to transport football teams across the country.

Yes, but it still takes a good amount of gas to make other sports possible, not just NASCAR.

NASCAR uses less gas their whole season than 1 major city uses in one day. You also have to put into consideration the amount of fans that drive to NASCAR events versus the amount who drive to other sporting events. Yeah, football players don't run off of gas, but the vehicles that get the fans there do. So the question is, who has more fans? As far as NASCAR in general, I'm not a fan but I don't get why everybody makes fun of it. "HUR DUR.. IMMA BE UNORIGINAL AND MAKE FUN OF HOW PEOPLE WATCH CARS GO IN CIRCLES." Okay, we get it already. Obviously it's hard to feel the excitement of driving a race car when you're not driving a race car.

I'm not lying. I don't watch it because I think it's boring, however, I understand that different people like different things and if somebody gets excitement from watching their favorite car get first place then good for them. I get excited when tall buildings start appearing in my cities on Sim City and I'm sure plenty of people think that's stupid.
