+199 Nobody thinks about how when this generation is in their thirties-forties, having piercings and tattoos will be normal. So the arguement "You'll regret that when you're 35" is mostly invalid, amirite?

We'll just have an ugly generation of 30 and 40 year olds.

The more common argument is "You'll regret that when you're 60," which is still definitely valid. I don't care how common it is, a tattoo is still going to look gross when you're 60, 70, or 80.

My great-grandma had an anchor on one forearm and her (ex) boyfriend's name on the other. They still looked pretty badass.

Well I'm sure there are exceptions (like your badass great-grandma), but I think in general old people regret a lot of the decisions they make when they were young, whether they were tattoos are not.

Yeah, I'll agree with that.
