I was thinking more like self esteem and confidence, which has an effect on how you go about life and how you treat others, but that's a good point too

I came to say the same thing as Hadou and what you're saying is brought on by how others treat them, usually. If it isn't then you can be fugly and confident or hot and have low self esteem.

Oh. I see what you're saying, but this could also go both ways, or in a giant chain for example. Take me. I had long hair. Everybody around me told me to cut it, and i hated it too. And so i cut it.

I voted No Way, but upon a second consideration I'm not so sure. My appearance doesn't match my personality at all. I'm fucking tiny, and cute, and endearing but my personality is like a cross between Janis Ian from Mean Girls and Darlene Connor from Rosanne. But maybe my cynicism and sarcasm developed as a sort of self defense mechanism to avoid being treated like a cute, endearing little girl? Hmm. This is really interesting Favvkes, I've never thought about it before.

well it may not be useful for your self development, but it surely adds up to personality. an attractive physical appearance helps you to stand out of the normal crowd. It is a fact that majority of the people fall in love with beautiful looking personalities.
