well from the way people talk around here apparently science is based on faith too since nothing it does holds any value, or proves anything to them....so it might as well be a religion.

By false I mean not the one truth. Not that they don't have some truths in them. Atheism is the belief that God doesn't exist, yes, but to come to the conclusion that you're an atheist, and not anything else, then you do believe that no religion is the one truth

Not necessarily religion, but I was getting at the point that even a lack of belief involves a "belief" that religions are not the one truth they claim to be. I guess I was just think too outside the box haha never mind

Actually, I've seen plenty of people on the Internet say that their religion is atheism, and I'm just like, "No." I believe that atheism is the just idea that one day you acknowledged your belief that there is no God and you gave it a name and proceeded to move on with your life. It's not a religion.

Might as well get this out of the way, since most of you are wrong. Atheism isn't technically a religion per say... But all religions fall into the category of 'Belief systems' as in the reality you consider to be the truth. Atheism falls into the category of 'Belief systems' since you believe that 'God doesn't exist etc..' which is in fact a belief since there is just as much proof for as against. I don't like the way this post and similar others try to convey that atheism is some how different or the apex black sheep of the belief systems in the world. It's just another adoptable reality like every religion.
