+128 Why do people make a big deal about snow? If it snowed as regularily as it did rain, and rained a couple times a year like it did snow, just imagine; 'Mom! Look outside it's finally raining!!'.....or.....'It rained while I was gone!? NO I missed it again!!!', amirite?

Haha that IS how we act when it rains here. I live in Phoenix, AZ so water falling from the sky is quite a beautiful rarity.

I used to live there! I know what you mean.. lol.

That's how it is in Montana! Soo much snow. So little rain.

It doesn't always rain as much as it does snow. That really depends on the climate of where you live.

I love rain. I get excited when it rains in the hopes of a big storm, and really, it does't rain too often, and I live south of Chicago.

Well, since I'm a person from Texas, snowing is usually the highlight of that month! Lol. You can't blame us for freaking out over snow!

"Why do people make a big deal about snow?" You kind of explain it with the rest of your post, its because it only happens a few times a year

I wasn't actually wondering that, I just used that to show that people may react the same way if it was vice versa

I'm Canadian, so snow is just more driveway shovelling.

I'm Canadian, too, and I act that way about both snow and rain. I get extremely excited about both. The only difference is that I get ticked when we have a snowless winter but not so much when we have a rainless not-winter (there are only two seasons up here)

Really? I'm Canadian as well, but I'm sick and tired of snow after last year's snow fall. I felt blessed when I saw rain coming in instead of snow. I'm from SW Ontario so we ARE farther down than some Americans so they have it worst. Where are you from?

Ottawa. Cold as hell Winters and hot as hell Summers. Or at least it was like that. I never get sick of snow. I'm always ecstatic for the first fall and a little sad when the last of it melts.
