U>country
Note: U is "everything in the universe." Any computer science/engineering major should know what I'm talking about.

It really depends on what kind of rap it is.

When I was a kid, I hated everything but Linkin Park. Now I like almost everything, but I still hate country...

Most rap music has absolutely no point except to rhyme as many nonsensical words as possible. Most country music has meaning. Thus, you are wrong.

I prefer old time country like Johnny Cash over any rap anyday!

While I'm mostly a fan of rock, there is some country I appreciate. I can't stand rap though, it was nauseatingly popular when I was in high school, and so many people would act like you had three heads if you told them you weren't into it, as if they can't imagine anyone having their own taste in music that isn't just the same crap everyone else listens to.
