This is only a //tad// relevant but.. on Friday I finally made my choice for the university I plan on attending. BEST.FREAKING.FEELING.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Here there's only one university in the entire country where you can study veterinary science, so it's an easy choice for me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh? Well I plan on getting my ph in psychology and minor in English but that's everywhere! It's just i've been very picky about choosing the //right// one.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And where might that be?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Texas (didn't plan on staying in state but..) it's UTA

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Congrats! I'm glad you're so happy and excited about it. Do you know what you'll be studying?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What country is that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

South Africa. The university's in Pretoria. I was expecting one closer to home but it's the only one that offers that program.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How far is it from home?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Going straight to the Military.

Kind of a boring post on homepage today...

Most of my posts are pretty boring, you could probably gather that by my account name. However a lot of people seem to enjoy them, so I think I'll continue. :)

I'm moving to America in the fall for university... I'm pretty excited!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That is awesome! To what state, and from what country?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm currently in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and I'm either going to ohio state or suny buffalo. I have around 4 months to decide which one! Where are you now?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I actually wanna move to Dubai after I'm done with university & degrees and such! I've pretty much got Arabic down, and I'm cool with the culture/Religion. It sounds like a nice place to live

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(Fragments_sissy):I'm so glad you think that way. When people think of Dubai they normally imagine a strict, religious city with police patrolling around but really it's NOTHING like other Middle Eastern cities. It's the exact opposite of that. It's a great place to stay, especially if you're 18+ There's tons to do, it's tax free, safe, the public amenities are brilliantly maintained and the nightlife and shopping is beyond amazing. The only bad thing is that everything is expensive compared to other cities!

I've visited some of the other Middle Eastern countries, such as Jordan and Yemen. They're really nice countries, but Dubai seems so beautiful. And I actually understand that they're not crazy Muslims ruling all over the place, I think they're actually friendly.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's so exciting, what a change! And I actually went to a SUNY school for a bit.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Booo Ohio State..Penn State all the way! I will be attending there next fall!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So basically the only people who could've declined are going to the military or are skipping college?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Or trade school, whatever other circumstances. Was the post not clear?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No I was just wondering...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Basically yes. :)
