I've been playing tennis for 9 years now, and I like to consider myself as a pretty good player xD And it definitely is NOT easy. If it was, a lot more people would play it. lol. It's hard enough to pick up a racquet and try to hit the ball (or so my non-tennis friends say lol), and even harder as you move up in competitions and get into all the technical stuff xD

I've played tennis for almost 11 years and i've been on the varsity team for my school. When I first started it was EASY and when I turned six, I was selected to play in a tennis camp with high school players. I now play first singles for my team and placed third at state this past season. I'm also ranked 4th in my state. So for some people, it's easy but for others its hard. :)

I hate it when people think it's so easy! "How hard could it be to hit a ball with a racket? durrrr.." It's hard. To be able to run down all the balls, hit them with the right speed to spin ratio, and know when to hit which shot. The strategy is as hard as in chess, in some cases. Also, it's an individual sport (doubles, meh) and you can't depend on anyone but yourself to win. It's also screwed up in the way that, you could lose/win 6-0, 6-0 but every games could have been deuce like 5 times, and the score would never show it. I play pretty well, I think, but there's SO MUCH TO LEARN in the way of strategy, shots, and mental strength.
