-126 When you post something on facebook in a language your crush doesn't speak, you put it into google translate to see what comes out, amirite?

wut. Why... ?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm pretty sure they meant that the other way around. When your crush posts in a language you don't speak, you go translate it.

I thought it meant to see what their crush would see when they put it into google translate..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

oh okay I understand now, but it's still kind of strange...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Very strange.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh, yeah. Totally. Do this all the time. no no no

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm having one of those, "I thought I was the only one who did that" moments

Google translate often doesn't translate accurately. I mean it does but it doesn't translate in the way people actually mean it. I mean- gah, never mind.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the point of the post, they see what their crush would see if they translates it.

this should be on 9gag with the "Forever Alone" meme slapped on the bottom

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol so many people don't get it because so many people speak only one language, e.g. from USA or Britain.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think we don't get it because it's weird and pointless?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It sounds like that if you've never done it. "Doing the same thing you did in class 50 fucking times" also sounds weird and pointless, but in other words it's "perfecting the skill you learned that day". I mean, it's actually kind of smart, thinking ahead like that. It's like double checking (that it doesn't sound stupid).
