Besides, why, when I tell people I don't believe in God, they base their argument on the fact that we couldn't just have appeared, we MUST'VE been created, right? Yet they blindly accept the concept of God just appearing without being created. Sure. Makes perfect sense.

Yeah you know because believing a mystical creature, that had a son who became a 2000 year old zombie that you have to pray everyday for the rest of your life because a virgin whore had him and he had to pay for the sins that began when a nude chick ate an apple because a snake told her to makes 1000X more sense. I'm not atheist but I think those who try to figure out more than they can, shouldn't because there isn't much evidence to begin with, and people shouldn't pretend that there is.

I'm Atheist. I'm fine with people being ANY religion as long as no one is in danger. It's ridiculous when someone randomly bashes it, though. There's a reason the USA has freedom of religion. You have yours, I have mine. Personally, I find the Bing Bang theory more logical than some supreme, bodiless being controlling everything and creating a son in his image... That's just me. Feel free to believe it, but I don't.

I agree with you 100%!! Yeah, the Big Bang Theory sounds pretty legit along with evolution and all that jazz, but God made all that happen. Or at least thats how I look at it.

I believe in a combined religion/science. I think the Big Bang theory is true, and that's how life started, but I believe in the morals and ethics of my religion. note: I don't pray and go to church.

I was forced to go to CCD and make confirmation, and I still have to go to church until I'm 18, thanks to my oh-so-lovely father. I've listened. It doesn't make sense to me, nor many others. Turning water to wine, some supreme ruler that decides whether you have eternal happiness or damnation...I find it illogical. You can believe it, feel free- it is not endangering me in any way, but don't bash other people's religion.

First of all, I think people should respect each others beliefs, and just agree to disagree. Secondly for all the people who believe in tje big band theory and evolution, you believe we all evolved from bacteria. Spontaneous generation was disproved so how do you think bacteria was created from non-life on the Earth? Bacteria had to just 'appear' just as much as God would have had to. Im not sure what I believe but everyone should just respect everyone else's beliefs because either way, life came from nothing.

I'm learning evolution as we speak. Well, not RIGHT now, but in school. There are mutations. Adaptations. I assume you learned a bit of this in school. There are fossils PROVING evolution. We know that much. We have no idea how everything began. No one does. We just have some ideas. I stated before that some people turn to a supreme being, others try to research. We should just agree to disagree. Arguing our sides will get us no where, except some wasted time. We're not changing anyone's opinion.

UGH I HATE ARGUMENTS ABOUT RELIGION! It makes me so mad! Yes, I am a Catholic, but I definitely respect other people's religions. Sure, I may not believe that we evolved from bacteria or whatever, but it doesn't make me less intelligent just because I don't look at life from a scientific point of view. Neither of these beliefs, Atheism or Christainity, have proof that they existed. We don't know how God or bacteria came into being, so stop arguing about it! And to be honest, I can't see how you Christians can call yourselves Christians if you don't accept other religions. Doesn't your faith include to be accepting of other people? You give other Christians a bad name. And to all those Atheists out there, NO its not a "zombie" that we worship. And most of us don't worship because we want to get into heaven. We worship because we want to be good people. We help because we want to be good people. Well most of us do. K? So shut up.
