Twilight made Muse really famous, amirite?

Don't get me wrong Muse fans, Muse is an amazing band, but Twilight just boosted them up. BTW, I'm not a twilight fan.

That's BS. First, I got my first muse album 7-8 years ago and they have been recognized as the best band to see live for at least 4 years. They had at least 2 hit albums before anyone ever heard of twilight, nonetheless made a movie out it. I don't even know what muse song is on the twilight soundtrack and I can only assume that anyone who thinks this is true is very young and ignorant to music. Anyone who thinks muse became popular post twilight doesn't deserve to listen to their music.

Muse has always been successful (this is coming from a HUGE Muse fan) but I definitely think Twilight made them a little more well-known, mainly with Twilight fans.

Muse got really popular in the US from twilight. It's not that they weren't known, but they did get more known. I just went to their show last month and half of the people there had to have been twilight fans (as in that's where they discovered Muse). It was quite sad.
