-237 You treat people depending on how attractive they are, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not nice to do that but I do it anyways

People that are appealing according to my sexual orientation yes, If I like them I'll treat them with some awkward mess.

Have you been reading the uglies series?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I think this is true to an extent, but I'm not going to be mean to someone just because I find them unattractive. I just might have to take more time getting to know them.

I just don't treat people in general.

There once was a duck who was uglier than all of the other ducklings, let's call him Phil. Everyday Phil would swim around the pond and everyday the other ducklings would mock him by shouting, "Bat face! Bat face!" They never included him in their games and Phil was more often than not left alone to gaze at his own hideous reflection on the pond's surface. One day as Phil made his rounds of the pond he spotted an eagle on the horizon. "Eagle!" He thought and "Eagle" he cried to the others as he swam over to the group. But they wouldn't listen. "Phil thinks he sees an eagle" they scoffed, and promptly they went back to their duck games. So Phil pecked them and scratched them and shoved them into the underbrush. And just in time, as the last one tumbled into hiding the eagle's shadow passed over top and away again into the distance. "You bully!" Shouted the others. "If you peck us we'll peck you back!" And Phil let them. Because he knew that he was the hero they deserved, but not the one they needed. Because he was a watchful protector, a silent guardian. A dark knight.

this story grew really intense really fast. I could almost hear dramatic music playing in the background at the end.

I see why you chose that username..

I will now proceed to read all your comments

Wait hold up, shouldn't it be the hero they needed, not the one they deserved?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Sorry! I didn't notice when I posted it.

I thought that too but then I was like "hmm.... maybe it's supposed to be weird like that.."

Not always... and I always feel bad. It's kinda an "if it's your fault" kind of thing. Like people with nasty looking unbrushed or dirty hair. That's EASILY fixable, so fix it. People that wear either really gross or badly fitting clothes. Unless they're poor (if they are, I feel bad, that's not there fault), it's irritating. Then people with acne and greasy skin... wash your face. HOWEVER, like I said, I feel bad, and if the things I mentioned are in certain circumstances, it's fine. Uhg, I feel like a total bitch so I'm going anon, which I hate to do. Could y'all please tell me if I have any valid points?

I could understand what you mean. Especially the one with the hair. I know some girl who has hair extensions and it doesn't look so well on her since it looks completly visible and fake. She doesn't brush her hair and it's gotten to the point where you can see actual knots. People completely ignore her and roll their eyes at her for it. I try my best to be nice to her, but sometimes it's hard to take her seriously. That sounds bitchy as fuck though. But I can see acne and greasy skin being uncontrollable. It could be genetics and it's impossible to eliminate that. It could also be from stress and that's impossible to avoid. I still get acne and it can be pretty shitty since I've tried everything to avoid it (like buying certain products for it and trying my best to avoid certain food).

whew, okay. Yeah, I have a little acne but I try my best to get rid of it and I cover it up when I go out. I'm more talking about grease buildup in the areas where it's most common, like around the nose. Also, it's easy to tell if someone often messes with their pimples (they'll be bigger and redder, and they could have acne scars), so that irritates me. You didn't sound bitchy. Sadly, appearance does affect others :(

Kind of. If i realize they're butt-ugly i try to be nice. They have it hard enough already. But when they're attractive i dont try to hurt their feelings, but i dont pay attention to how i say things.

I'm more comfortable talking to unattractive people because I don't like them. I'm awkward around good-looking guys.

Once there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly, that everyone died. The end.
