If there was more time in the day, then that would just mean we are able to do a lot more work and will do a lot more.

Are we always hectic now? If we didn't sleep, it would just mean we'd have a slightly longer day (maybe). You still need your break... it's not like we'll be working 24 hours a day. It just means instead of 8 hour work days, you might have to have 10 hour work days, then after that you'll just have chill time for you to do what you want....
