dating is a good experience before marriage cause you'll get an idea of what to expect. if you never know what a relationship is like, how the hell will marriage work out?

I think he means like 12-14 year olds and how they, even us, say we're in love.. I'd have to agree. Many younger relationships move too fast and teach them to grow up a bit too fast.

I'm 15 and I don't plan on having a girlfriend in high school. I've tried it before and it's not worth it. Girls expect too much and at this age, what am I supposed to do for you?!? I'm not supposed to be responsible for anyone but myself

teenagers focuses too much on being in love when in the real world, you need to get a job and earn money. and besides it's much fun to be in love when you're older, you're free and you're not restricted to anything.

none of that added up because you just said that we should "get a job and earn money"; which is for adults. but how can it be "much more fun when we're older" if we need to get a job and earn money.

I think focusing on school etc. is going to get you farther in life than worrying about some stupid boy/girl who you are trying to impress daily. Yeah I love dating!! It's awesome cause you get that feeling of love, but I also feel like it's not gonna kill me if I wait until I'm done with school. Ya know?? P.S. I am a teenager.

Those of you who say that you will NEVER date in high school are probably wrong. Or you're just so antisocial that you won't let anyone into your life. But that's your problem. You have to date and feel around to see what you really want. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in a marriage with someone that you can't stand. And I do agree with the fact that there is a difference between saying i love you and being in love. Saying i love you gives the security that the person that you're with truly cares about you, not that they are falling madly in love with you. If they really are IN LOVE they'll prove it without actually having to say the words.
