Schizophrenic people aren't ever lonely, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Schizophrenia isn't the same as dissociative identity disorder if that's what you were getting at.

Schizophrenics often hear voices, hence no loneliness.

Oh duh. You're right. What I said doesn't have anything to do with the post

They're not nice friend voices, such as "How was day?" "That's a nice shirt you're wearing!" or any of that, so they DO get lonely. It's the same as if you were in a room of evil terrorists or paedophiles and they would keep whispering things at you. You would feel lonely, at the least.

I know it's far from a pleasant experience, but I'm not sure lonely would be the right word.

Yes, that's why I'm saying the least they would be is lonely.
by Anonymous12 years ago
So... you're agreeing that schizophrenics probably wouldn't feel lonely?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Lol yeah I didn't quit phrase that quite right. I meant that at the very least, what they would be feeling would be loneliness. In other words they feel worse than lonely.
