When you think about it, the fact that humans can communicate is pretty amazing. Imagine having to come up with a word for everything, a way of writing, grammar, and spelling. It would be very difficult, amirite?

You know it just evolved over time , right? Somebody, probably a farmer, points at water, says something, and everybody starts saying that thing for water. Later, more people do that for thousands of things, start changing words (run to running), make sort of standards for how to form sentences, whatever. Of course, all of this changes over time in different places, making all these different languages that sort of resemble what they the same thing at different times. What makes them even more complicated is that nations and people move in or invade other places and bring their language with them.

Adam was born with speech and named every animal, then the tower of babel created more languages. I don't care if you don't believe me, but this is what I believe

Even more amazing is the myriad of languages that exist. Plus there are so many words to describe single concepts in English alone as well. I like this post. Kudos.
