+44 You're happy the SCOTUS approved "ObamaCare", amirite?

Of course. And I dare everyone who disapproves to give me one good reason for that. By the way, this post reminds me of a cartoon I saw today:

I don't believe the government has the right to tell me that I have to buy something. Don't be an ignorant little turd assuming that those against are so just because Obama supports it. Believe it or not there are valid opinions on both sides of the issue.

If you don't want to pay car insurance, you don't have to. Nobody is forcing you to drive.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No I do not. If I waive my right to drive I do not have to have car insurance. If I waive my right to be served at a hospital, I should not have to buy health insurance. Also this is not free healthcare unless you are below the poverty line. You are required by law in the United States to BUY health insurance. Obviously free healthcare would be popular: it's free.

In Oregon you have to have at least liability insurance to drive. I would hate to not have insurance, people are crazy for not having it. I don't live in the city, so I kind of have to drive to get places.

The main reason that rates are so high is that people don't buy insurance but go into hospitals (into the ER) and are treated there, because the hospitals cannot deny treatment to them, and then don't pay the hospital.

@yay_im_wrong who is that directed towards? Nobody is arguing anything about insurance rates.
