Perhaps that's because you're mind isn't as free to wander and you don't like the the subject matter you're supposed to think about. It isn't entirely dependent on the presence (or lack of) of a screen.

Not really. Now that I've planned an almost perfect study schedule, school is pretty much just a place I go to be in the same room with 34 people my age and one older person in front. School is just not conducive for thinking, unless what you're learning interests me.

For the record I said almost. Anyway, wake up at 0930 play for an hour, then alternate between 2-3 hours work and one hour play. Lunch and dinner breaks extended by 15 minutes. Day ends at 2130. All subjects studied for 1-1.5 hours.
