High-school should teach real maths, like how to split a restaurant bill between friends, amirite?

Or you could just go Dutch.

Why should I have to pay if someone decided to have 10 shots and 4 courses?
by Anonymous11 years ago
No, Dutch is when everyone pays for themselves. You pay for what you ordered, and that's it.

Oh ok- thats the point of my post tho. Trying to figure out who owes what and no one ever has exact change
by Anonymous11 years ago
Oh, most restaurants here have a no bill splitting policy- especially when its a group of like 10

@pocketpie-that is very considerate to ask at the beginning of the meal. I have been a server for 8 years and a lot of people ask when the check is delivered.

I CANNOT PRONOUNCE MATHS TO SAVE MY LIFE.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Look on the bright side. You probably //won't// have to pronounce maths to save your life

They always ask my table how many checks we'll need.

I'm pretty sure they taught us addition and division pretty early on.

They should teach us how to do taxes, or balance checkbooks or other stuff like that. Because as a teenager, this sounds terrifying to me hahaha
